When your questions shouldn’t be answered with the following FAQ, feel free to contact us.

General questions

  • Do you make custom work?
    • Right now, Shellshock Industries participates in a lot of various projects. So we cannot assist you with your project.
  • Do you help me griefing?
    • No.
  • Do you teach me scripting?
    • We do not provide custom training for individuals, but we start scripting lessons soon on a partner sim.

Reselling questions

  • Can i get a higher commission?
    • We only give 22%. Thats it.
  • Do you provide special vendors?
    • SSI provides regular one prim single vendors and stand-up vendors with fixed sizes. However its possible to make a vendor with a custom size.
  • A delivery failed – how do i get my customer the product?
    • For that case there are two possibilities:
      • You fill a notecard with the transaction history, time, date, name and send it to “Natok Dryke”.
      • Give your customer a LM to the SSI Mainshop at Dolphins Archipel in order to use the manual update/redelivery terminals.

Product questions

  • When I attach your product, it looks all squished – How do i solve that?
    • Just right click the HUD
    • Select edit
    • Choose “rotate” in the object navigator
    • Move the HUD on the blue axis until it looks fine ( 0¬∞, 180¬∞ usually do as values )
  • I get messages that I cannot rez objects.
    • You got no permissions to rez on that land.
    • When its groupland you are not part of the landgroup.
  • The HUD doesnt do anything.
    • Usually its a lack of scripting permissions.
    • Make sure the HUD is attached with the right group being active. Activate the group and re-attach the HUD.

Licence questions

  • I use one of the SSI products and it tells me to contact you – what is it about?
    • When you get such a message there are several reasons for it:
      • You run a pirated copy and didn’t get a licence.
      • With the change of the licence older products can experience this issue when you didn’t update to latest versions.
      • You was refunded and your licence purged.
    • Anyways it is the best way to contact us and ask for the reason.
  • Which information are stored within the licence system?
    • In order to make the licence system work properly we only store following information
      • Avatar name
      • Avatar UUID
      • Location of the registration
      • Date and time of the registration
      • Product
