We finished a fine working bugfix for breaking the autoreturn again and made it a lot easier for making selfmade graffitis. However we are banging hard to apply the bugfix on all premade graffitis and writing a new handbook which will be published on the website here.

The update for Taggers Delight will be given on sunday, the 26.04.2009.

the update for taggers delight is finally released!

Right now we cannot give an exact date when the update for Mephisto will be available, however we can give a preview on what will be new.

Bugfixes

• Trasher Object missing within Mephisto
  • Comment: Seems SL ate it when updating from 1.0 to 1.1

New stuff

• Different modules like the Simscan will get an information within the dialog textfield in order to show which settings are currently set. Especially important for the attack modes because people cannot see right now which settings are chosen.

• Chat support for starting attacks.
  • Comment: For now we are wondering about the way the chat support shall work.Feel free to use the comment function to tell us your opinion. There are 2 possible ways:
    • Select the target by clicking on the target bars and just saying attack name in chat with a prefix in front of the name. Sample: Click on “Natok Dryke” and saying “!orbiter”.
    • Full chat selection of target and attack by saying in chat “!orbiter Natok Dryke” or “!orbiter nat”.

• Chat support for settings and defense devices.
  • Sample: “!npv” to rez a nonphys.

• Adding new defense devices.
  • a no-push avatar disruptor. Seems to be quiet helpfull.
  • a new shield device. Mix of regular prim shield and interceptor, so it will only appear when necessary.

• Addings new attack mode.
  • PickUp: Enables traps for picking up after the target got trapped for animating over and over again by just wearing the picked up trap.

• There will be also new attacks, but we do not give out any information about them preventing idea theft before we released them.

The anti-autoreturn of Taggers Delight is broken but a working solution is allready done. Right now we are implementing the new technology and an update will be soon available.

As described in the groupmessage I’ve send, different difficulties have shown up which make it necessary to divide the update process into several steps.

• Preparing all products for the changed update/vendor system
• Updateing products ( some issues have been reported – minor bugs )
• Preparing new vendors
• Updateing licence system

Until the end of the current week, everything will be done. For now, 50% of the first step was done.

Important for resellers is that after the update process all former vendors wont work anymore and its necessary to update.
